Australia day weekend sailing at Kingston SE South Australia

The windsport week planned for Kingston SE in South Australia for the Australia Day weekend is a very informal affair. Because of the council requirements for any “planned events”, there will not be one! A planned event, that is. Instead, there will be a series of ad hoc events happening. Blokarting and kite buggies out on Lake Nabzad most of the weekend to a “Kite Flyers Picnic” on the Kingston foreshore on the Sunday. You would not believe how crazy some of those kites are!

This is an opportunity to do some fine tuning of your Blokart and look at what other wind enthusiasts are doing. No formalised or planned racing, but of course, when 2 or more Blokarts get together - there is bound to be some racing! Quite a few of us are traveling over there so please join in if you are hesitant. It’s a great trip with a lot of socialising and catching up with members from other clubs. Many of those going, will be staying at the Kingston Foreshore Caravan Park - and don’t forget to stop at the Stick Shed at Murtoa! Or the Grampians! Or Coonawarra! Or………..
